The staff at Club Med clearly make the difference. They were all welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The resort was clearly in need of a reno (about to start soon I believe), and it showed, but it did not affect our stay too much. Food variety was Ok but labelling poor - we had one in our party with allergies and sometimes we were not clear on what we could eat. The sports facilities were good but court surfaces were a bit hazardous in places. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I'm sure with a refresh, this will return to being a premium resort!

What an amazing experience at Club Med Bali! We had an absolutely fantastic holiday and would highly recommend it to families, couples, and guests of all ages. Whether you want to relax, stay active, learn something new, or dance the night away, there is truly something for everyone!

🌟 A fantastic team that makes all the difference

The Chief of Village Houcem was incredibly welcoming, and Assistant Chief of Village Amine was simply amazing! He brought such great energy to the resort and genuinely cared about the guests, always checking in to make sure everyone was having a good time. He even came to the rescue when our daughter forgot her phone and we couldn’t locate her. With One phone call, Amine managed to find her within minutes! That level of attentiveness really makes a difference when you’re travelling as a family.

🍹 Unforgettable moments at the bar

We had a wonderful experience with Sympa, who created the most amazing cocktails and mocktails. All we had to do was name one or two ingredients, and voilà, magic happened! His creativity and enthusiasm made every visit to the bar a pleasure.

⛳ Golf, fitness, yoga tennis and salsa , so much to enjoy!

The golf experience was another highlight. Zee and Oka shared some excellent technical tips, and we had a fantastic time taking part in a golf tournament together.

For an intense and fun workout, we had the one and only Hamza! His aquatic gym sessions were so much fun, and we definitely worked those muscles.

Vittoria, our yoga and fitness instructor, was lovely, making the sessions enjoyable and welcoming.

And our salsa classes with choreographer Samuel were absolutely brilliant! We learned new moves, laughed a lot, and had so much fun. A wonderful way to get moving while enjoying the holiday atmosphere.

🍽️ Delicious food, with special care for allergies

A special thank you to Chef Trio, who was incredibly helpful and attentive when it came to my food allergies. I have quite a few, so eating well while travelling can sometimes be challenging. Thanks to his care and support, I was able to enjoy a good variety of delicious dishes throughout our stay. This made a real difference to my holiday experience.

🎭 Spectacular evening entertainment

The evening shows were always something we looked forward to. From local dances and live music to circus performances, there was always something exciting to discover.

And then came the parties at the main bar! Let’s just say… WILD, WILD, WILD! 😂 The energy was infectious, often with Amine helping keep the party going. One thing is certain: the team at Club Med Bali knows how to dance, and their enthusiasm is contagious!

🤸 A special mention to the incredible circus team

Our teenager had an amazing time with the circus team: Jeremie, Amie, Marie Graham and Daniel.

Not only were they fantastic coaches during the day, but they also dazzled us with their incredible performances at the theatre. We were lucky enough to enjoy three spectacular shows, with amazing costumes created by Iko, the talented on-site fashion designer, whom we even had the pleasure of meeting.

Seeing the team share their skills both during activities and on stage was truly impressive.

🎉 The Teen Club was another big success

A huge thank you to Hans from the Teen Club, who organised so many activities and helped make our teenager’s holiday so special. It was wonderful to see our teen having such a great time, making the most of the activities and enjoying the experience independently.

We genuinely had an awesome holiday! We exercised, relaxed, danced, laughed, discovered new activities, enjoyed fantastic food and made wonderful memories together as a family.

What really stood out was not just the facilities or the activities, but the people. The team’s enthusiasm, professionalism, talent and genuine care created such a special atmosphere throughout the resort.

Club Med Bali is so much more than a holiday resort ,it’s an experience! We left feeling energised, happy and already full of wonderful memories.

As a couple made of a Club Med lifer (been going throughout all of childhood) and a Club Med first-timer, we came into this holiday with difference expectations but we both left with wonderful memories and so much appreciation for the experience.

Overall, it was an amazing holiday! The resort is beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, from the lush gardens and inviting pools to the restaurants and bars. Every corner of the resort felt thoughtfully cared for, creating such a lovely environment to relax, recharge and enjoy everything Club Med has to offer.

But what truly made this holiday special was the people. The warmth, kindness and energy of the team made such a difference to our stay, and we'd love to give a special shoutout to some of the wonderful people who made our experience so memorable.

🌊 Watersports: A big thank you to Iru who even though had just landed as a GO in Bali, took such great care of us both at water sports and socialising at the post show events and to Samuel for the great energy on the d floor!

💪 Fitness: Hamza and Vitoria brought so much enthusiasm and positivity to their sessions!

❤️ A long-awaited reunion: Tawan and Dayu — what a joy to see you both again! Our long-awaited reunion made this trip even more special, and it was wonderful to reconnect.

🍹 The bar team: A huge shoutout to Arifin, Jayrate, Lorenzo, Roy, Feby and the entire bar team for keeping us hydrated, looked after and smiling throughout our stay. Your friendliness and service never went unnoticed. A special mention also goes to G.E Nyoman at the Zen Pool for taking such good care of us there!

🎤 Entertainment: Agunu brought such lovely MC vibes and helped create a great atmosphere. Thank you for the energy and fun!

🎪 Circus: Daniel and the entire circus team deserve a special mention for encouraging a first-timer to give it a go — and welcoming someone back after a seven-year break! Haha. Thank you for the patience, encouragement and for helping us step outside our comfort zones. It was such a fun part of the holiday.

These are just some of the people who made our stay memorable, and we hope the entire team knows how much their kindness and hard work are appreciated. The facilities may bring guests to a resort, but it is the people who make them want to return.

While we had a fantastic stay overall, there are a couple of areas where we think the guest experience could be improved:

Wi-Fi in the rooms: Having no Wi-Fi in the room was a little disappointing. Reliable connectivity in guest rooms would be a welcome improvement, even for those of us who are happy to switch off and enjoy the holiday.

45/88 theme night merchandise: We understand that 45/88 is a Club Med tradition and that the theme night is part of the fun and culture of the experience. However, it would be great if guests had the option to purchase 45/88 shirts - currently not available due to recent boutique renovations. Even without opening a full boutique, a small selection available for purchase could enhance guest participation while also creating an additional revenue opportunity for the resort.

Thank you to the entire team for your warmth, hospitality and the little moments that made such a big difference. To everyone we mentioned, thank you for being part of our holiday and making it so memorable.

It was the best holidays in Bali !! The go team is incredible I would like to thank the chef de village Houcem and Amine for this memorable holiday and thank you Amine for dancing with me every night at every crazy signs , I also had a unforgettable time with the flying trapeze team like Marie who helped me achieve lots of different poses ,Jérémie who caught my first knee hang catch ,Daniel who was always talking to me and having to handle me and ami that helped me with my second catch, hocks off .then I can’t say thank you enough to Hans who takes care of the youth/teens club !! Thank you for taking care of all of us and always having fun activities to do and always laughing with us !! It was very fun doing the aqua gym with hamza some days and Vitoria some other days !! Also thank you very much to sympa,lautenzo and all the bar team for making every drinks (even special orders)! Also thank you the receptionist like Adeline that has the same name as me !!! And bouteina who greeted us here and the restaurant team (and thank you very much Othmane for the surprise you organised on my birthday). We can’t forget how comfortable the bedrooms are !! And the view is incredible ,lastly I would like to thank all the staff in club med Bali for making us feel at home and greeting us !! We will try and come back after this great stayyy thank youuuuu soooooooo much !!!

My husband and I have just returned from Club Med Bali and had a fantastic time. Honestly, I'd live there if I could.
We had read a couple of negative reviews following the fire that took out the main restaurant, but our experience was nothing but positive. Kudos to the management team and staff for creating a fun holiday vibe despite capped guest numbers. While the food selection was not quite as varied as it would be under normal circumstances, the food and beverage team did an amazing job, including two garden dinners and one dinner around the pool in the 10 days we were there.
On the other side of the coin, the reduced numbers meant it was peaceful during the day, with ample banana lounges available, lots of room in both pools and the ability to spend more time with the GOs, which is always fun and interesting.
The Chef de Village, Houcem, was away on a business trip for most of the time we were there, but he left Amine in charge, who was present, available and personable - we are big fans of having someone in charge who is both visible and accessible if needed.
As usual, there was a huge variety of activities on offer - the lower guest numbers did not affect the available choices of things to do.
And now, to what makes Club Med the place for us, the GOs and GEs. Most of the staff put in very long hours and work very hard to give guests a great holiday experience and it is truly appreciated. Thank you to: GE restaurant staff - nothing is too much trouble, and they are all friendly, smiling and helpful, bar staff - for waiting on us hand and foot, Tawan for his archery instruction and friendliness, and Bouteina for her friendliness and help at reception. Special mentions also for Ruth, Melanie and Vittoria - all warm, lovely and friendly people - it was a pleasure to talk to you, and Ruth gives the best hugs! A huge thanks also to Lee, who goes out of his way to connect people to each other, especially those travelling alone - his efforts made a big difference and meant that we had a lovely community of Club Med buddies to have fun with, including making a friend from Singapore who we are already planning to see again. Thank you Lee and I'm sorry we didn't see you to say goodbye before we left.
Last, but not least, my personal favourite, Hamza. What a "force de la nature" he is. It makes me tired just watching him work - he gives everything to what he does - whether taking fitness classes during the day or leading the party at night. He is warm, kind and funny and talks to everyone, irrespective of age, ethnicity or gender. My husband and I are in our 60s and Hamza took the time to talk to us extensively and ensure we were having a good time. Thank you, Hamza, it was sincerely appreciated - and your hugs were pretty good too.
