If you do not want to cook, plan, go out, or complicate your life in any way, this is a great option. Logistics were easy. Skiis and boots were in our locker. Smooth processes. Shiny looking but still decent food. Easy access. Could return!

Denise is an excellent instructor for lvl 2 but I had a terrible experience with two other instructors

The all-inclusive aspect was great. Food was generally very good, with the exception of a few dishes that did not "wow" but were still quite edible. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) most enjoyed the skiing, snowboarding, pool, outdoor jacuzzi, yoga and a fantastic dog sledding excursion. The room was well decorated and had plenty of closet space and great beds. There are a handful of laundry facilities (with just 1 washer and dryer) that few people used so we were lucky to be able to do a couple loads during our stay as we prefer to pack light.
One negative: The place was crawling with often unattended young kids, who were rowdy and sometimes out of control. Kids racing down the hallways constantly with no adults in sight, pillow fights by the bar, kids interrupting yoga class out of curiosity of what was going on in there. Where were their parents? Sipping wine somewhere quiet probably. Great for them but not for other guests. As much as I love kids, that was the main detraction from the resort's otherwise relaxing atmosphere. I have heard that kind of "Lord of the Flies" behavior is not tolerated at other Club Meds so that is an area they could work on.
There was also little explanation of how the teen lounge worked and my youngest was unable to access it the whole time we were there. If you have teens, ask a lot of questions of they are interested in that because they didn't tell us much on arrival.

I had two goals on this family ski trip…overcome my fears after not skiing for 8 years and to ski with my family. I was fortunate to take two group lessons from my angel ski instructor named Ariel. I have never had a ski instructor that was so skilled, focused on safety, compassionate and able to provide individual instruction even in our group lessons!

She took the time to learn our goals, find out if we were visual or technical learners and she delivered us safely back to base each day even though we had a larger group. She gave me back a dose of confidence and on day 3 I skied with my family!
When I was out on the slopes with my loved ones, I saw Ariel running in the snow in an “S” shape with only her boots on with hands waving like a butterfly! My first thought was she was doing a private lesson for a struggling and scared skier. Then I glanced a bit to my right and I saw her group of students lined up in the safety formation she taught us. Even though I was not a part of her lesson, she called out my name and was excited to see me meeting my goal and skiing with my family.

I cant’ thank Ariel enough for her passion and dedication to make each moment in the lesson count. Club Med Québec-Charlevoix is SO lucky to have her!
