This is one of the best all inclusive experiences I’ve ever had - very family oriented with tons of activities. Staff are mostly friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean and fairly updated; we booked a family suite with two separate sleeping areas separated by doors (there are rooms with a curtain separating sleeping quarters, which may be appropriate for families with very young children). Our room had two bathrooms: one was a 1/2 bath (toilet and sink without a mirror) and the other was a shower with double vanities (no toilet). This arrangement worked well except for when we all needed to use the toilet (rather urgently, at times). Neither room contained a mirror, which would have been nice to have when we were all getting ready in the evenings. Closet space in the room was more than sufficient. The beds were very hard, but we managed to catch zzz’s after our busy days.

The mini camp was wonderful, and kept our kid busy while we enjoyed sailing lessons, kayaking, swimming, pickleball, golfing lessons, tennis, etc. The camps allowed our kids to practice circus skills, including trapeze hangs (don’t worry, adults also get that opportunity in the evenings, and it’s an unforgettable experience). Our eldest found many friends at the teen space, and on some days we barely saw him.

The swimming pool is large and was never overcrowded during our stay - possibly because the newly built water park shared the crowd. The slides at the water park were fun for all - and kids under 10 get to enjoy the bubble (think giant water trampoline). We spent an evening playing mini golf on their 18-hole course (but bring bug spray if you go in the evening).

Hispaniola restaurant is buffet-style, and fully stocked with stations appealing to vegans and meat eaters alike. Fresh fruit is never hard to find. Their a la carte restaurant - Indigo - is a great sit down spot for breakfast and lunch, but get your reservations in at 9 am if you want to enjoy a more upscale dinner experience.

One of the biggest bummers for me was the beach. Sargassum was rampant despite their continued efforts throughout the day to keep it under control. While they offered snorkeling gear, there wasn’t much to see (and as a former resident of a Caribbean island, I may say this with a degree of bias). Throughout the day there was never a shortage of activities, and keeping track of these was easy through the Club Med app that ran smoothly with their free basic WiFi.

Their gym was pretty good, with treadmills, ellipticals, a rowing machine, free weights, bicycles, kettle balls, a few weighted machines and mats (which could use replacing or a serious cleaning).

Overall our family loved our vacation and will probably book another Club Med for future vacations. Even after 7 days, we couldn’t catch all the activities that we wanted, and we did not book any outside excursions!

I just got back from an unforgettable vacation at Club Med Punta Cana, and I have to give a huge shoutout to the Teen Club — it was honestly one of the best parts of the trip! As a teenager, sometimes vacation activities can feel more geared toward younger kids or adults, but Club Med really nailed it with this one.

From the moment I joined, the Teen Club felt like a place where I could just relax, have fun, and meet awesome people from all over the world. The activities were super well-organized — beach volleyball, paddleboarding, creative games, themed parties, and even circus school! There was always something exciting going on.

I also have to mention Florian and alexie, one of the GO staff members, who made the experience even better. He brought so much energy and made everyone feel welcome. Whether we were playing sports or just hanging out, Florian always made sure we were having a good time. He was super friendly, funny, and genuinely cared about making our experience unforgettable.

If you're a teen heading to Club Med Punta Cana, don’t skip the Teen Club. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, chill time, and new friendships — and if you’re lucky enough to have Florian as your GO, you’re in for an amazing time!

Banana, Ralph, Davidson, Vero, John, Ronaldo were wonderful at the Kids Club. They made the time there enjoyable, fun, and entertaining for the kids.
