Learn aboutExceeded expectations: the resort is really beautiful (prettiest club med we’ve been to), and there are loads of yoga and exercise classes. The kids’ pool area is GREAT, with loads of seating, splash area, and a bar.
We were a little worried that our daughter would not enjoy kids club (most, if not all, kids were French, and she doesn’t speak French). But the petit club staff - Thomas, Marine, Hafsa, and Enjah - made sure she was included and had a great time. The fact kids club was so fun really made our holiday relaxing. Our daughter was really happy to be dropped off in the morning.
Only notes of caution: Buffet got a bit hectic towards the end of our stay: recommend arriving towards the start of service or retreat to quieter El Kebir restaurant for snacks if you go during school holidays.
Wine is provided by the bottle (rather than serving yourself by the glass), which meant that we probably ended up drinking more wine at lunch than we might otherwise…
No crisps around the place, so we picked some up when we were in town (the apéro snacks were a bit fancy for our simple tastes…). We also picked up some uht as milk was sometimes hard to find.
A mysterious lack of teaspoons.
See on TripAdvisorThe Riad is beautifully decorated, as are the rooms. The service is amazing, the food and drinks delicious, and the team led by Mr. Abdel also works very well together. The staff know you by name and vice versa. Thank you Abdel, Ayoub, Meriem, Jaoued, Halil, and all team members for the wonderful time with you. Ingrid x
See on TripAdvisorWe had an amazing week, the facilities were fantastic and as ever with Club Med the staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Special mentions to Mehdi on reception, Hafsa, Gigi & Lison at mini club, Youssef the chief of village, Manu for the amazing welcome and Francois the golf coach - all people that stood out in terms of amazing hospitality and friendliness that made the stay special. The boss at the golf club was sadly very rude and unreasonable (first time I’ve seen such a thing at a club med), did not want to honour the course that I booked over the phone just the day before arriving as it “did not make subs for him”. Having already struggled to bring my golf clubs I insisted however and in the end a compromise was made. It left a bad taste but thankfully Francois was an amazing coach, I improved a lot and he’s a very funny guy so it was a lot of fun too.
See on TripAdvisorWe had a great stay at Club Med Marrakech as a family of four. The facilities, food, and rooms were all excellent, especially the Family Oasis, which is perfect with young kids.
A big thank you to Youssef the chef de village, as well as Emily.
Then of course a big thank you to the Petit Club and Mini club. Our three-year-old was in the Petit Club and the team was amazing: Marine, Lison, Marion, Hafsa, and Vincent, with a special mention to Lison and Marion who were so caring with Anna.
Also a shoutout to Ousmane and Wiwi at the mini club, who took great care of the 5y olds.
Thank you to Sara at the spa who was lovely.
Only small point: the music during evening kids shows could be a bit less loud for little ones.
We’ll definitely be back!
